What is TX Dental Plan?

TX Dental Plan is NOT INSURANCE, but rather a licensed dental savings plan that’s offered through your local dental office. Unlike traditional dental insurance filled with red tape, TX Dental Plan features no waiting periods, maximums, exclusions or claims process.

In exchange for a low annual membership fee starting at only $30 per year, TX Dental Plan members receive free limited exams and necessary x-rays, plus 20-85% off most dental services at a growing community of 25+ dental offices across Texas.

Note: Free limited exams and necessary x-rays are limited to 2x per member/per annual membership term. Exact member savings may vary from normal member savings if a board-certified specialist renders the services.

How much does TX Dental Plan cost?

TX Dental Plan is very affordable and typically pays for itself in only one dentist visit.

Individual Plan: $30.00 per year

Each Additional Member: + $10.00 per member/per year

Note: TX Dental Plan renews automatically every 12 months unless you notify your participating dental office or the plan administrator of intent to cancel prior to renewal. All members will receive upcoming renewal notifications via direct mail (30 days prior), email (7 days prior) and phone call (3 days prior).

Which offices accept TX Dental Plan?

TX Dental Plan is accepted at a growing community of 25+ dental offices across Texas.

A list of participating dental offices can be found online or by calling (888) 756-1534, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm CST.

How soon can I use my membership after enrolling?

Since TX Dental Plan has no waiting periods, exclusions or maximums, you can utilize your membership immediately after enrolling and as much as needed while an active member. If you would like to use your membership prior to your member ID cards arriving in the mail (7-10 days), simply mention you’re a member when visiting your participating dental office and they will verify your eligibility real-time.

How frequently can I use my membership?

Unlike traditional insurance plans filled with red tape, TX Dental Plan has no maximums so you can use your membership as much as needed while a member.

To maintain optimal oral health, the American Dental Association (ADA) recommends regular dental visits, at intervals determined by your dentist. The frequency of your regular dental visits should be tailored by your dentist to accommodate for your current oral health status and health history.

How long is the membership term?

TX Dental Plan carries a yearly membership term and will auto-renew at the end of its respective term unless you notify your participating dental office or the plan administrator of your intent to cancel prior to your renewal date.

Can I add dependents to my membership?

Yes, you can add additional family members to your membership anytime by logging into the online member portal or calling (888) 756-1534, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm CST, to speak with a dedicated member support specialist.

When will I receive my member ID cards?

You will receive your new member welcome kit in the mail 7-10 days from when you’re enrolled. Your member welcome kit will include a member welcome letter, a copy of the member terms and conditions, and 2 member ID cards.

Note: If you’re a new member and didn’t receive your member welcome kit in the mail, or you’re a current member and lost your member ID cards and need to order new ones, please call (888) 756-1534 to speak with a dedicated member support specialist. We will be happy to mail you a set of replacement ID cards at no additional charge.
